At both resort you can learn how to dive according to the PADI system of diver education - from entry level Open Water Diver certification all teh way up to the Dive Master rating. At Mimpi Resort Jimbaran, a small dive shop with equipment caters to guests who would like to spend more time in teh busy Kuta-Jimbaran-Nusa Dua area are complete their confined water trainin there and then move on to either Tulamben or Menjangan for their open water dives.
